Trapper Upgrade (for older eyes)
The .30-30 Trapper has been serving me well for quite a while now (for background on the gun, see "Rescuing the Trapper") but I have noticed that in certain conditions I cannot see the sights as well as I like. Thinking about it I decided to go with the "Scout Rifle" option.
Fungus Sam from the Forum found out what I was planning and donated a wonderful scope for the project. I worked out a deal with Regan Nonneman of Nonneman Custom Rifles and in a little while the Trapper was back.... upgraded for older eyes!!
